Heat Press Staying on?
Is your Heat press still heating - even with the switch off?
There is a Solid State Relay (SSR 25 DA) in the machine, which uses a DC Voltage to switch the mains to the heating element. These can and do fail. The AC side of the relay gets short-circuited, allowing current to flow all the time.
Solution : Replace this inexpensive component. They are available from Communica @ R140 incl. VAT.
Be sure that you mark the DC side wires to know which is positive and negative because both wires in this one are red.
