Our 50W PLT-3040 machines come standard with a submersible water pump. It is your responsibility to ensure that the water being pumped through the tube is kept below 26°C. The operating range for these tubes is ideally not lower than 16°C and not higher than 26°C.
However, from the 6040 Turbo 80W and up, you really need a Chiller with the machine – especially when the temperature warms up in Summer. This is an extra expense, but it will save you the cost of replacing a cracked tube from overheating. We do not recommend operation with a submersible water pump.
If your machine has a 100W or higher power tube, you MUST have at least a CW5000 / JZ5000 chiller. Please discuss this with your salesperson when purchasing your CO² laser.
