Wave pattern trivet, 25cm diameter. Material needed: 300x300x21mm piece of wood, can be solid, ply or MDF.

First NC file is for a 6mm ball nose bit, shallow passes, at around 700mm/s. You can do this with a larger radius tool as well, like an 8 or 10mm.

Second NC file will necessitate a tool change to a 6x22mm downcut bit (doesn’t matter if the flute is longer), to be run at 1100mm/s.

Total time would be about 37 minutes excluding tool change.
